Tesla Coils

When I started building coils, it was more like a guessing game, I already had an oil Burner Ignition Transformer (OBIT) which i had used for a Jacob's Ladder, so it was a good starting point.
I eventually found 'Deep fried Neon' with calculations and started to get results, first small working coil was 708 turns on a 3" former, this is now part of Sparky and his Dad.
One of the things you may notice is that i like to do things a bit differently.
